Aluminium 1100 Flat Bars are made up of 99% pure aluminium, which makes them one of the most commercially pure grades available. This alloy includes small amounts of copper, iron, silicon, manganese, and zinc to boost its strength. It offers excellent resistance to corrosion, high thermal and electrical conductivity, and outstanding workability. The mechanical properties feature a tensile strength of about 90 MPa, a yield strength of around 34 MPa, and an elongation at break of up to 35%. While Aluminium 1100 isn’t heat-treatable, it responds well to cold working, striking a great balance between strength and ductility for various forming and fabrication tasks.
